How often should I have my septic tank pumped?
For most households, every 3–5 years — though it depends on tank size and how many people are in the home. Regular pumping is the single best way to protect your expensive drainfield. We're happy to recommend a schedule for your system.
How do I know my septic system is failing?
Watch for slow drains, gurgling, backups, sewage odors, or soggy, bright-green grass over the drainfield. On pump systems, an alarm box may sound. If you notice any of these, call us promptly to avoid a backflow into your home.
Where is my septic tank located?
It's usually about 7 feet from the house wall, near the largest vent pipe on the roof. The watertight access lid on top of the tank is where pumping is done. Not sure where yours is? Our crew will locate it for you.
Do you handle real-estate septic inspections?
